El Hierro Flag:

This is the official El Hierro Flag since 18th May 1987.

The official El Hierro Flag is divided on two horizontal equal parts, green and blue from top down with a white triangle on the left side (near the pole).

This flag is supported by the 1953 symbol used during the “lowering” of the patron Virgen de los Reyes. This triangle represents the island and the colour white represents the fog, the sea foam and the clouds. The colour green represents the nature of El Hierro, its mountains and trees while the blue represents the Atlantic Ocean.
