Tenerife’s History Museum has its headquarters on the well-known Lercaro Palace, a XV century building located on the historic centre of La Laguna, on the Northeast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

The History Museum of Tenerife, has joined the Tenerife Anthropology Museum, in the “Museum of History and Anthropology of Tenerife”. This museum was founded with the goal of promoting Tenerife’s History and exhibiting the development of its culture since the XV century.

This museum has an upper-floor, totally adapted to disabled people (lift and adapted toilets). On the ground floor there are some non-accessible places such as, for example, areas with paves floors or some rooms with a stair before.

How to get here:

To get to the History Museum it’s advisable to rent a car in Tenerife and head to La Laguna through the TF-5 highway. Once inside the municipality follow the TF-212 which crosses with the Calle San Agustín, where the museum is located.

You might also access this museum by bus on the 01 015 or 105 lines from Santa Cruz, the 101 and 102 from Puerto de La Cruz, or the 111 from Las Américas- Santa Cruz
