The Church from the convent of nuestra señora de Guadalupe and San Pablo, was nominated Cultural Interest Good on the category of Artistic Historic Monument on 1986. Its located in Costa Adeje, on the south of Tenerife.

The Church from the convent of nuestra señora de Guadalupe and San Pablo was founded in 1679 by D. Juan Bautista de Pon Fonte y Pagés, the first marquis of Adeje.

Originally, this convent had eight or nine religious man from the Franciscan order and it was the nineteenth in this province. After the exclaustration of 1835, the convent was demolished and from the beginning of this century holds the town hall. Nowadays, from the original convent you might only visit the church.

The church has rectangular shape, a principal nave, a bigger chappell that you might access through the cobblestone triumphal arch sustained on same material columns, ornamented with corinthian chapters, from which you might see an baroque entablature

Take a closer look at the torch and shield paneling from D. Juan Bautista de Ponte Fonte y Pagés, made on marmor placed above the main entrance.
