Montaña Guajara is located in Granadilla de Abona,on the south of Tenerife.
Montaña Guajara, with its 2.718 meters, is the highest peak in Cañadas del Teide. Its formation happened millions of years ago.
It’s possible to access the peak through some municipal trails even though it’s very hard to achieve it.
According to the legend, this mountain was named after the princess Guajara lost her beloved in the Aguere Battle, climbed this mountain and there she was for a long time and, on the end, she threw herself from the peak.
