The Las Coloradas Castle is placed in Yaiza, on the south of Lanzarote, nearby Las Coloradas Beach.

The Las Coloradas Castle, also known as the Eagle Tower is the only defensive construction raised on the south of Lanzarote.

This fort is a great example of the military architecture.in the canarian archipelago. It was built in 1741 to defend the island from the attack of the devastating pirates. In 1769 this tower was reformed after being destroyed by a fire.
This is a circular building fort that can be accessed from a drawbridge. The materials used for its construction were stone, wood and lime.
