The most important festivities are the nationwide holidays when most public establishments and official institutions are closed such as the post office. King’s Day: 6th.

February:

Valentine’s Day: 14th February.
Carnival (banks are still open): 20th February.

April:

Holy Friday: first friday of the month.

May:

Labour’s day: 1st May.
Holy Cross (only in Santa Cruz): 3rd May.
Mother’s Day: first sunday of May.
Canary Islands Festivity: 30th May.

August:

Asunción: 15th August.

Septembet:
