La Rambla de Castro is a protected landscape located in the municipality of Los Realejos, in the north of Tenerife.

La Rambla de Castro is highlighted by its singular natural elements, as well as by its scientific interest donated by the canary palm woods proof of old vegetable formations. It also has many populations of catalogued protected species of native canary flora.
The first fortified constructions date from the XVI century and the main references are the : the Hacienda de Castro, the San Pedro Hermitage and the San Fernando Fort.
The water’s always present on this protected landscape of La Rambla de Castro so it isn’t strange to think that this is one of the greenest regions on this island.
This endearing natural site also hosts the reproduction areas of pardela cenicienta, a qualified special interest species from the national species catalogue.
In this area you might find many wonderful trails, with many fountains, making this an idyllic site to relive from the stress through long walks.
